Commonly Asked Questions About Veils

Question:  What is the difference between 72" Wide and 108" wide veiling?

Answer:  108" wide veiling is wider and more full than 72" wide veiling, so it will look more substantial than a 72" wide veil. A 72" wide veil is less full and works well for gowns that have detail in the back, because a 72" wide veil is going to be more transparent than a 108"wide veil. We have found that the veils are equally popular and it depends on each customer preferences. These pictures show you the same veil in the 2 different widths.  Notice how the 72" wide veil is not as full around the shoulders, or at the top of the veil as the 108" wide veil is.

White:  Is by far the most popular and common bridal color. It is the color that most wedding dresses come in. If your wedding dress is plain white, this is the color you should order your veil in.

Ivory:  Is a color a lot of brides prefer for a 2nd or 3rd wedding. It is a very light ivory and goes best with "Candlelight" or "Ivory Wedding Dresses. Please remember there are many different colors of ivory, and many different types of material used in wedding attire that will make it look different and it is not always possible to get an exact ivory match with the wedding dress and wedding headpiece. Just try to match as close as you can.

Diamond White:  Is a very close in color to plain white. It is also called "Silk White" or "Off White". Diamond White is a shade between the colors white and ivory. It is recommended you only wear this color of veil with an "off white" wedding dress.

Shimmer Colors:  Shimmer veils made in white, ivory or diamond are the same colors as described above, except they have a distinctive shine to them and are more noticeable when they are under lighting.

Please remember the colors you see on your computer monitor can vary a little bit from how the colors may look on other computer monitors. Quality of monitor, your screen resolution and other factors can all show you a little different variation of the same color(s).
